Demanding education - Dianna Wray, OA Online
Odessa College’s director of global education, Corey Davis, is devoted to online learning. "Online classes literally saved my life. I wouldn’t have gotten through without them," he said. Davis’ own experiences may not seem like something vital to building the Education on Demand program at Odessa College, but they are the reason he is passionate about offering options to students with different educational needs. In fall of 2011, Davis will open up a whole new world to OC students, as the pilot program "Education on Demand" takes flight. "Most of students aren’t here to find themselves or to take a class for the love it. I had that, but not every student has the luxury of doing that," Davis said.
