Creating teachers via online and blended learning - Martha Kearns, the Post.IE
Hibernia’s model is a mix of online and onsite training, using rented education centres across the country to hold classes. Its appeal is that people can continue to live and work in their home counties while taking courses in the evening and at the weekends.‘‘A lot of these were substitute teachers, so they get to qualify without having to give up their jobs for two years, move to a city and rent a flat, or have concerns about childcare. It is a quality programme which is accessible from every county in the country," Rowland said.
