Charter schools lead the way in the growing student demand for online learning - Doug Hering, Examiner
Online programs in Colorado grew in 2009-10 by 12.5% showing that interest in the programs is still growing. Online programs are both single district and multi-district. A multi-district program allows a school to enroll students from any district in the state. Multi-district programs must be approved by the Unit of Online Learning. In 2009-10 over 87% of students in multi-district online schools were from other districts.
