Online learning courses now available to Arizona students K-12 - Deborah Stocks, abc15.com
Arizona students, from kindergarten to grade 12, will now be able to take some courses online. Schools Chief Tom Horne announced the new Arizona Department of Education K-12 online course catalog in a news release Saturday. He says the catalog lists some of the K-12 online programs available to students statewide in a centralized location for access by schools, parents and students. "Online courses offer subjects that may not be available in a given school, help to students who wish to accelerate their learning, and assistance to those students who may need extra time or options for their academic success," Horne said.
