Online Learning courses add to student options Classes to enroll teens across U.S. - Jonathon Braden, Columbia Daily Tribune
Some Columbia students will be attending a new high school next week, and voters didn’t even need to pass a bond issue for it to be approved. Virtual High School, or VHS, is Columbia Public Schools’ new online learning option for a limited number of high school students. At least 25 Columbia kids will join students across the nation enrolled in virtual courses Jan. 4, allowing the school district to still offer classes that might have been canceled because of small enrollment tallies.
