South Carolina ranks 2nd in online learning - Liz Carey, Anderson Independent Mail
A national organization ranks South Carolina second in the country for its online learning programs. According to the Center for Digital Education, 25 schools in the U.S. have statewide online learning initiatives, up from 15 only a year ago. South Carolina Superintendent of Education Jim Rex said an 80 percent increase in the program’s enrollment over two years was one of the factors contributing to the state’s ranking.
