E-Textbooks Gain in Popularity - Stephen Bartlett, The Press-Republican
E-textbooks are usually 50-percent cheaper than regular textbooks and can be accessed online or downloaded onto laptops. They usually provide students with additional information and resources, and texts are searchable by key words and phrases. Flat World Knowledge started publishing online textbooks earlier this year and already works with more than 400 colleges and universities.
