Students Go Non-Traditional With E-Schools - Marcus Thorpe, NBC4i
Approximately 1,600 students in the Buckeye state start school the same way—at home and online. E-schools are charter schools where the teaching and learning happen online. A Coshocton family has three children enrolled in the Ohio Connections Academy. With the online school, students spend time listening to teachers in other parts of the state, talking through chat boxes, and following what parents say is a strict and challenging curriculum.
