Refresh the way we buy texts - Hayley Imel, The Daily O'Collegian
Knowledge may not come cheap, but one Internet-based company is finding new ways to lower the cost of learning. Cengage Learning, an online learning-solutions company, is the first higher education publisher to enter the print textbook rental world and create a direct link between publisher and student. “With the launch of our rental program on CengageBrain.com, we are adding another lower cost option for obtaining the high-quality content students and instructors have come to expect, designed to enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes,” Ronald G. Dunn, president and CEO of Cengage Learning, said in a press release.
