Nontraditional (online) learning suits some families to a T - Sandra M. Klepach, Northern Ohio News-Herald
According to the International Association for K-12 Online Learning, online learning is one of the fastest growing trends in American public education. More than 1 million students are currently enrolled, a number that's growing 30 percent a year, in 44 states. The e-school format also provides a public charter education to kids who simply can't attend traditional classes, said fifth-grade teacher, Aaron Lowe, who has taught kids with rare diseases, extended hospital stays and Olympic training regimens in his six years at OCA.
