Today’s interview is with Dr. Harvey Silverstein, Dean of the Meritus School of Business, a New-Brunswick-based online learning university. The introduction of the Internet and modern technology has taken this a step further. Working professionals do not have to attend a traditional class at Meritus. Our model is asynchronous -- that means that students don’t have to be online at the same time to carry on a conversation. Therefore you can go to online class and contribute to a discussion at 8 a.m., others can respond at noon, and someone in another part of the world and time zone can reply at 6 p.m.
