New online learning initiative in Offaly, Offaly Express (Ireland)
A new learning programme was launched in Tullamore Library on Tuesday, September 8 by Offaly County Council Cathaoirleach, Noel Bourke.The programme is a joint initiative between FÁS and Offaly County Library Service aimed at providing people with opportunities to upskill for free in their local library with the assistance of a facilitator. The programme is open to all learners (over 18) and will assist people who have little or no skills and also people who want to complete courses such as ECDL, Health and Safety, Finance fundamentals etc.
