What do educators think of online classes? - Andy Gammill, Indianapolis Star
Eighty percent of superintendents who replied said they were already using some form of virtual learning in their high schools -- mostly in core subjects of English, math, social studies and science. Many of those responding indicated they wanted to use virtual learning much more in foreign language education, technology education and vocational education. Sixty-five percent of those surveyed said they used virtual education for credit recovery, followed by 32 percent using it when scheduling conflicts occurred and 30 percent for at-risk students.
