Online Learning: Students have in-person virtual school graduation - HILARY LEHMAN - Associated Press
New graduate Jamie Kanehl stands in the hotel lobby in her white gown, the cap atop her head. She waves to a classmate, saying “have fun at Kentucky!” Her teachers come forward with congratulations. The high school career of this 17-year-old from Jacksonville has just finished. And she just met everyone in her school — an online school that is increasingly a mainstream experience.
