Online Learning: Faculty favor restructuring Global Campus - Paul Wood, News Gazette
Faculty members are looking more favorably on a plan for a smaller, less-expensive Global Campus 2.0 program than the current one, which had sought to be separately accredited. Nicholas Burbules, who chairs the faculty/student senate at the University of Illinois Urbana campus and co-wrote the report, said Friday that executive committees at all three campus senates have endorsed a smaller-scale online learning initiative.
