The Internet: not just for Facebook anymore - Chabot Spectator
With the increase of computers in the household, Internet access on cellular phones, and the rise of communication being experienced behind a screen, college campuses worldwide have introduced online learning classes to their curriculum. Just in the upcoming summer semester, Chabot has over 50 online courses available, in addition to the hybrid courses involving a condensed number of on-campus meetings. Subjects range from music theory, anthropology to even real estate. Here at The Spectator, we neither discourage or encourage students to partake in online classes, but instead believe that it truly depends on the type of learner you are, or the kind of schedule you have. It all rides on the lifestyle you lead.
