Online Learning: Schools take education to the next level - Kelly Wilson, Sentinel
When Carlisle Area High School senior Heather Farrisi goes home in the afternoon, her school day isn’t over. Still waiting for the 17-year-old Dickinson Township resident online are the health class she takes through her school and an anatomy and physiology course she takes through the Derry Area School District because CHS doesn’t offer it. But she says it’s better that way. Online courses give her the flexibility she needs, she said, and it’s an opportunity she highly recommends for other students.
