Bedfordshire provides online learning content to 63,000 students & teachers - Public Technology (UK)
More than 63,000 Bedfordshire students now have anytime, anywhere access to Encyclopaedia Britannica Online School Edition and hundreds of articles, illustrations, interactive games and multimedia resources to support their learning. In an important step towards Bedfordshire County Council’s vision to extend learning opportunities outside of the classroom, students simply log-on to Britannica through their school’s learning platform from anywhere with an internet connection. As children use the internet more and more as a primary source of information, Bedfordshire County Council is now able to provide parents and teachers with peace of mind that students accessing content which is reliable, trustworthy and safe.
