We need to cease thinking of our learning spaces as containers of things and instead, urged on by constructivist learning theory, design these spaces from the inside out by focusing on what the users will be able to do.... The new idea in Long and Holeton’s article is that we should focus on verbs that describe what people should be able to do in learning spaces, active verbs such as connect, design, discuss, construct, and present.
