NTU to offer free online learning classes for jobless office workers - China Post
National Taiwan University is planning to offer free undergraduate and postgraduate classes to office workers who have recently lost their jobs or who are on unpaid leave as a result of the global economic recession. According to university officials, about 1,100 courses are expected to be offered, with about 10 percent of the available spaces in each class reserved for non-NTU students. The courses will range from electrical engineering, information technology, engineering and law to social sciences and literature, the officials said.
