MHS expands with online campus - AARON OLSON, Dunn County News
If you see a teenage patron at a coffeehouse in the middle of a school day, she could simply be attending class. The School District of the Menomonie Area (SDMA) is taking applications from the “21st century learner” to enroll in one of more than 70 courses that will be offered next fall. Menomonie joins a national trend, early in development. States like Colorado, Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota and Connecticut have high schools who fund online classes.
