Online Learning for Healthcare: a partnership between Department of Health, professional bodies & the NHS - Public Technology
In a unique partnership between DH, Royal College of Radiologists and the NHS, the Radiology Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) has transformed postgraduate training for radiologists by delivering a national, quality assured online, interactive learning solution. The entire radiology curriculum was turned into 600+ hours of interactive online learning content, delivered via a bespoke Learning Management System (LMS) in which trainees learn, record and evaluate their progress. The most positive development in medical education in 20 years”, R-ITI is a groundbreaking solution to the difficulties of training a dispersed workforce with highly specific and complex training needs to a high national standard.
