USC, Clemson may share some specialized classes - Anna Simon, Greenville News
As they explore ways to cut costs in a tight economy, the presidents of the state's two largest universities said they have discussed sharing some classes through distance learning technology. Sharing classes could offer a way to restore choice to students at a time when state colleges are faced with mid-year budget cuts that could mean the loss of some adjunct professors and dropped classes, University of South Carolina President Harry Pastides told The Greenville News.
