Teen looks to future online learning with website - Press Association
A teenager is urging parents to prepare their children for the future by signing up for Mandarin Chinese lessons. Daisy Raffan, 17, has established an online learning website, with the aim of teaching the language to as many children as possible, all over the world. With China becoming an increasingly important player in the world's economy, Daisy says that given the current financial climate it is vitally important that people learn the language sooner rather than later. Ms Raffan, from Beaconsfield, Bucks, has been learning Mandarin Chinese since the age of five, earning a GCSE A* grade in the language at the age of 14.
