Post University Offering Soldiers Free Ed: Soldier Can Take Online Learning Classes From Wherever They're Stationed - WFSB Connecticut
Post University is renovating one of its buildings in an effort to bring in an online learning technology center to its campus for soldiers. The center will help out former servicemen like Marine Michael Iacoviello of Waterbury, who said he’s found that the GI bill doesn’t completely cover the cost of his education. “Every place, I went the GI bill wouldn't quite cover the books, the tuition, the fees and all that, so it really made it kind of hard to pursue an education,” he said. Post is expanding its military program so that all active military personnel and veterans have a shot at earning a college degree -- at no cost to them.
