Gazette Opinion: Schools must prepare students for life - Billings Gazette
A call for massive K-12 educational reform - carefully, strategically implemented - was delivered this week in Billings."Our schools are not about success in school," Raymond McNulty told an audience of about 200 community leaders Tuesday at Montana State University Billings. "They're about success outside school." It's critical for educators, parents and business leaders to take a fresh look at how our schools prepare students for life. Our schools are striving to meet students' needs, but there's much more they must do - especially in online learning and dual-credit opportunities.
