What a difference a decade makes. It wasn't so long ago we thought online learning (also called eLearning) would usher in the decline of social interaction skills among college students. Many naysayers thought the trend would not last. On the contrary, over the years we have seen an increase in online degree enrollment among high school graduates and working adults alike. With the availability of chat rooms, instant messaging, three-way calling, and text messaging, students have no restrictions keeping in touch with their peers.
