Students search for online learning classes - the Eldersburg Advocate
For college-bound students, there are many choices that they must face.From deciding whether to attend a college out of state or to stay local, choosing a major, class schedules and the cheapest place to purchase textbooks, the choices that they make will have an impact on their college careers. For Brittany Healey, an Eldersburg resident, the importance for attending online classes versus going to class is evident. “We live in a busy society and the demand for people to devote time to their work is often overtaking people’s opportunity to go to school,” Healey said. “Online classes are the perfect solution for this problem. They allow for schedule flexibility. You can work on an online course when it fits best into your own personal schedule.” A student at Carroll Community College, Healey also attends online classes through The University of Baltimore. For Healey, finding time for school and work while being a mother is often quite a challenge.
