Online evaluations need incentives - Tulane Hullabaloo
Technology at Tulane takes another jump (see: baby step) this semester with the transition from bulky paper course evaluations to swankier, online options. Provost Michael Bernstein and Associate Provosts Ana Lopez and Brian Mitchell have headed the change, citing the upcoming reaccreditation process in 2011. They believe having the course evaluations on the myTulane system will make it even easier for students to access and complete them. Unfortunately, Tulane students are notorious for apathetic tendencies when it comes to e-mail survey responses, so this may be one area where the Internet won't be more efficient.
