Nine museums combine web experiences into social site - Danielle Long, New Media Age
The National Museums Online Learning Project (NMOLP) is to launch a social networking project in a bid to bring together the online experiences of nine major museums. Creative Spaces will pull together the online assets of the Victoria and Albert Museum, British Museum, Imperial War Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Natural History Museum, Royal Armouries, Sir John Soane's Museum, Tate and Wallace Collection to enable users to browse and search their collections and create a personalised space.
