Eighth-grade class pilots online high school course in state, excels - NICOLL BURLESON, Cookeville, TN Herald-Citizen
As the world's technology is reaching new heights daily, the education system is discovering that by offering online courses to students, it is providing opportunities for students to take courses they otherwise would not be offered and giving them the opportunity to advance in academics. This happens to be the case with one eighth-grade class at Algood School that has been piloting an online high school physical science course at the middle school level for credit this past semester, and it is the only middle school class in the state to be taking a high school online course for credit.
