The recent downturn in the United States economy has many students and parents concerned about how they’ll finance an education.... Here’s a college cost comparison: Annual tuition and fees in 2008-2009 for a full-time student at Minnesota West are $4,807. Other average figures are Minnesota State Universities, $6,083; University of Minnesota, $10,308; private trade schools, $16,921; and private college or university, $28,137.
