Blogs and personal Web pages that teenagers create to stay in touch with friends can be used to pass information between school classes, workers at security-conscious businesses or even the CIA, students from 11 high schools learned Wednesday during a seminar.... On Wednesday, Pamela Berman, an instructional designer and developer at Bloomsburg, told how to create personal pages called Wiki sites, named from the Hawaiian word for quick.... Berman said she uses an online classroom software more sophisticated than a Wiki site with her classes. One of her classes used the software to collaborate on an e-book about online learning. The book that they wrote had 11 chapters and 40 authors.
