Mature learners embrace computer age online learning - Alex Frazer-Harrison, Calgary Herald
The computer has become as important a tool for post-secondary learners as notebooks, and it has greatly broadened the options for universities and colleges to get their programs out to as many people as possible. The "mature learner" has long been a fixture in traditional face-to-face classroom environments, but more 50-plus students are taking advantage of online options, too.
