Portland board takes online learning virtual tour - FRANK KONKEL, Sentinel-Standard
It's not the classroom setting your parents used to have, but classes offered by the Michigan Virtual High School are fast becoming a mainstream method to educate today's youth. Just ask the board members of Portland Public Schools, who learned the ins and outs of the program Monday during a work session from Portland High School principal Dave Bouck. More students than ever are taking online classes across the country and Portland Public Schools is at the forefront of the movement.
