Lecturer learns to sort out virtual classes - Australian IT
What happens when lecturers want to separate their classes into different groups? They just say the word and students would automatically gravitate towards their partners. The answer for these types of gatherings could lie in immersive voice communication technology being developed locally. It's not Second Life-esque but shares some similarities with the newly launched 3D browser by ExitReality. The project, headed by University of Wollongong ICT Research Institute managing director Farzad Safaei, focuses on immersive multimedia services in education.
