Online learning is an effective teaching tool - Richard Staines, Nursing Times
Internet-based learning for healthcare professionals is effective, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Researchers from the US reviewed more than 200 studies about internet-based instruction. They concluded that online instruction is associated with large learning gains compared with no instruction. The research also showed that online learning compared favourably with traditional instruction methods.
