Online Learning classes click: Web-based courses grow in popularity - Aliza Earnshaw, Portland Business Journal
Online learning has been growing in popularity for years. But with rising gas prices pushing students to take more Internet-based courses, some colleges could soon have more students studying off-campus than on. Eastern Oregon University is already there. Out of nearly 3,500 students enrolled during the 2007-2008 academic year, 1,800 took courses online.
