It doesn’t take a college degree to know that cutting back on driving is a good way to save money when gas costs more than $4 a gallon. As fuel prices have continued to rise, more and more students on their way to getting their degrees have decided to let technology do the commuting for them by enrolling in online learning courses in addition to — and sometimes instead of — traditional ones.... As that math has begun to sink in, the mid-Delta’s colleges and universities have seen a rise in the number of students enrolling in classes online.
