Athens State marks a record enrollment for summer semester - Athens News Courier
The current semester at Athens State University represents the largest increase in enrollment for the summer academic term in the University's history.... Enrollment in distance learning classes for the summer term has increased by 19 percent over the same period last year. Overall, students taking online offerings represented 62 percent of the total student body for the summer semester. To address this trend the University has made available at least one or more classes that can be taken online in almost all of the 33 majors.
