Online learning enrollment up at universities - Stephanie Stilwell, News 14 Carolina
As the gas prices continue to soar, many students are getting creative when it comes to their education. Officials at several Greensboro universities say their enrollment in online courses is up. But it's not just the price of gas fueling interest in online learning. Fifteen of the 16 UNC campuses offer online classes. Officials say system-wide students take more than 330,000 credit hours through online learning.
