Once struggling Union Institute expands online learning degree programs - CLIFF PEALE, Cincinnati Enquirer
A new online bachelor's degree in criminal justice is just another step in what Union Institute & University describes as a return to its roots. The school started the program last fall, targeted mostly to police officers looking to advance their careers. "I think some sort of college degree is going to be necessary to get promoted," said Eric Pennekamp, a Pierce Township officer seeking his degree in the new program.
