University of Iowa Distance and Online Learning Changes, Keeps Up With the Times - Steve Nicoles, KCRG
E-mail, laptops. Blackberries. Today we are programmed to never stop working or even learning. Continuing education keeps changing. Today, it is known as online learning or distance learning. You take courses online, learning using your computer. In the old days students would mail their correspondence to professors. The process has changed, but the idea is the same. Give people an Iowa education even if they cannot get to the Iowa campus.
