Students could take high school via online learning - Sarah Kirchner, Albert Lea
Tribune Education started at home with parents teaching children essential skills. It moved into one-room schoolhouses and then into massive buildings housing up to a few thousand students. Now education could be making a trend back to the home with virtual education available through the Insight School of Minnesota. Starting in the fall of 2008, online education will be available through the Insight School of Minnesota. The Insight School is an option for high school students seeking an individualized learning program for various learning styles and paces. Students graduating from the Insight School will get a diploma from the Brooklyn Center School District, which is governing and authorizing the online high school and making sure it adheres to the state’s graduation standards.
