Kellogg Foundation Grant to Help Blend Virtual Online Learning and Classroom Learning - Michigan Virtual University
The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has awarded Michigan Virtual University(R) (MVU(R)) $75,000 to collaborate with the Michigan Mathematics and Science Centers Network on improving math and science education for Michigan students and teachers. Online learning has emerged as an essential method for improving teaching and learning needed in the 21st century global workforce. Students who started high school last fall must have an online learning experience to meet the state's new graduation requirements.
