Blackboard Debuts Educator Central Online Learning Professional Development System - Dave Nagel, THE Journal
Blackboard has launched Educator Central, a new solution for K-12 teacher professional development. It's a hosted system for building education communities and managing professional development programs, as well as delivering and evaluating these programs. Educator Central is designed for managing both online and in-person professional development programs and includes technologies from MyLearningPlan, with whom Blackboard has partnered for the service. MyLearningPlan--a Web-based service for professional development--provides management functionality for the system.
