Wikiversity offers a course on online educational resources
Wikiversity is organizing an online course “Composing free and open online educational resources”. Starting on 3 March 2008, the course is designed for teachers and teacher-students who do not have prior knowledge or skills related to free and open education resources.... This initiative is an important move towards empowering teachers worldwide to create and share teaching materials, promoting open licensing for educational content and diversifying the open educational content currently available, which UNESCO has been advocating since the very first meeting on open education in 2002, and through initiatives like the Virtual University and e-learning and the Open Training Platform.
