USDA invites loan, grant applicants for online learning programs to serve rural regions
The USDA Rural Development office is inviting applications for six programs to help small towns and rural residents finance infrastructure improvements. The six programs are the Distance Learning and Telemedicine Loan and Grant Program, the Public Television Digital Conversion Grant Program, the Community Connect Grant Program, the High Energy Cost Grant Program, the Revolving Fund Grant Program and the Household Water Well Grant Program. The Distance Learning and Telemedicine Loan and Grant Program was created to improve access to education and medical services through the use of technology.
