Technology enhances learning - Chillicothe Gazette
Integrating technology into the classroom is key at Bishop Flaget this year. Bishop Flaget's technology coordinator, Kara Norris, has worked to bring all the newest technologies into the preschool-through-eighth-grade school and see that those technologies are being used to the fullest by the teachers. Norris, in her second year at Bishop Flaget, is excited about technology and the implications it has for the modern classrooms. "Today's children are far more technologically advanced that many of us can imagine. I hear all the time from parents about how they let their children fix the computer and program the DVD player. These kids cut their teeth on technology, therefore, what better way to reach them than by using the medium that they are accustomed to and comfortable with?" Norris said.
