Empire State College to offer its first online learning nursing courses this fall - Robin K. Cooper, The Business Review
Empire State College plans to offer its first nursing courses online toward a bachelor's degree to at least 40 students this fall. The Board of Regents approved the school's first health program this week. The school has hired a nursing program director and three faculty and expects total enrollment to grow to 232 in five years. Gov. Eliot Spitzer is expected to grant final approval soon, according to college officials…. All of the nursing courses will be offered via online learning except for the capstone course in advanced clinical experience.
